UNESCO Programs Continue In U.S. Schools, Promote One-World Government

Although the U.S. has now withdrawn from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the tentacles of the radical organization remain deeply entwined in America through education. Founded as the United Nations’ education agent, the purpose of UNESCO is to influence school curriculum to change the worldviews and beliefs of students.
In a 1949 pamphlet about using the classroom to promote “world understanding,” UNESCO said: “As long as the child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism, education in world-mindedness can only produce precarious results.” To counter that, schools should use various means to “combat family attitudes.” This mission to remove children from their parental influences as early as possible and place children in public schools where government approved attitudes are taught is found in the agenda of Progressives to expand public pre-K.
The “World Core Curriculum” was written decades ago by Robert Muller, the former UN assistant secretary general with a vision toward a global education system. He said he was inspired by former UN Secretary-General U Thant, a Marxist radical, whom Muller quotes as saying: “The world will not change and find peace, if there is not a new education.”
The term “Common Core” was used by UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning, the would-be global Department of Education, in a 2011 document about advanced training for educators from around the world.
UNESCO’s efforts in the 1960s and 1970s to influence U.S. school curriculum were unsuccessful until 2004 when American billionaire Bill Gates got involved. On behalf of Microsoft Corporation, he signed a “Cooperation Agreement” with UNESCO to develop a worldwide master curriculum for teacher training in information technologies based on standards, benchmarks, assessment techniques and content specified by UNESCO. That Bill Gates supports instilling radical humanist, anti-nationalist values into American students is made clear by the statement in the Agreement, "Microsoft supports the objectives of UNESCO as stipulated in UNESCO's Constitution."
The Gates Foundation has pumped billions into the implementation of Common Core in American education.
Although many claim that Common Core is nationalized education, it represents more that that. It is the culmination of decades of stealth efforts by the globalist education establishment to foist its radical left values for a new one world government on Americans through massive data mining of everyone and turning students into “global citizens” with anti-Biblical Christian views. The end goal is total regimentation and domination of humans.
UNESCO founded the International Baccalaureate Organization to create an internationally standardized curricula to facilitate international student mobility. It was funded by UNESCO, the Ford Foundation and many national governments including the U.S. A UNESCO report stated the two primary goals were the socialization and training for a global workforce. The IBO operates as a nongovernmental organization (NGO) and maintains its ties with UNESCO.
IB programs have been implemented worldwide with almost 6,500 programs in nearly 5,000 schools of which 40 percent are in the U.S.
The curriculum, which has been aligned with Common Core, promotes one-world government, disarmament, environmental extremism, moral relativism, humanism, and the feminist agenda. The IBO once endorsed the Earth Charter, which advocates the redistribution of wealth, population-control, and military disarmament, until public furor forced it to withdraw endorsement.
American taxpayers are being gouged for the pricey globalist IBO programs with application fees for schools to add the programs, annual fees per program, student fees, assessment fees, and teacher training fees/expenses.
How gullible Americans are! We should be charging the IBO for indoctrinating our students. Instead, we allow them to suck the life out of our Republic and our economy and turn our youth into little socialists.
Tyrants and would-be tyrants have always understood that controlling education – and the minds of youth -- is the key to power. They understand that corrupting children is their path to total domination. Today, Americans are faced with powerful globalist forces dead set on changing the beliefs and views of their children through “globalized education.”
It’s up to Americans to change that course. President Trump has withdrawn the U.S. from UNESCO. Now it’s up to taxpayers to demand that our state leaders dump the left wing IB indoctrination programs and keep the bacon in America.
Since it’s unlikely that government schools are going to remove the U.N./Marxist curriculum before several more generations are lost to socialism, parents must find alternatives to educate their children.
