Roe v. Wade Overturn Triggers ‘Insurrection’

By Carole Hornsby Haynes     June 27, 2022

For decades the notion that abortion is a constitutional right and, thus, enshrined in America’s moral fabric has been preached by the intelligentsia. At the same time, this self-righteous academic elite denies that Constitutional rights include a right to bear arms, a right to freedom of political speech, a right to practice religion, or a right to retain property free of government seizure.

Despite their claim that abortion is a constitutional right and, thus, enshrined in our moral fabric, the U.S. Court decided otherwise in its 6-3 landmark ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey and returned the authority to regulate abortion to the people and their elected representatives.

Tracing the history of abortion, Justice Samuel Alito, who delivered the opinion of the Court, showed that it had been considered a crime in common law dating back at least to the 13th century. Throughout our American colonial period, abortion was a crime. During the 19th century, the vast majority of states enacted statutes that criminalized abortion at all stages of pregnancy. By 1960, laws in all but four states and the District of Columbia banned abortion.

“The inescapable conclusion is that a right to abortion is not deeply rooted in the Nation’s history and traditions. On the contrary, an unbroken tradition of prohibiting abortion on pain of criminal punishment persisted from the earliest days of the common law until 1973.”

The Court noted that the United States is one of only seven countries that allow elective abortion after the 20th week of pregnancy.

Alito stated, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.” Roe held that the abortion right derives from the First, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments. The Court disagreed, “The Constitution makes no reference to abortion and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision” including the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

In perhaps the most compelling paragraph of the opinion, Justice Alito explains, “Roe was on a collision course with the Constitution from the day it was decided.” States are not prohibited under the Constitution from regulating or banning abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that power to change the rules arbitrarily -- the “exercise of raw judicial power.” The overturning of Roe returns that authority to the people and their elected representatives.

The overturning of Roe is of no consequence to those who disrespect law and order. For many on the left, the term “constitutional right” has come to mean “whatever I want.” To get those “rights,” they will stop at nothing, including burning down America and even murdering those who they believe stand in their way, as we witnessed with the rabid lunatic who attempted to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh.

With the Supreme Court decision, far left organizations have organized protests of violence and chaos across the nation that will likely continue for weeks.

During the protests people carried posters with slogans that included “We will rise up,” “ My Body, My choice,” and “Abortion Rights = Human Rights.”

Abortion radicals are throwing rocks through windows, firebombing pro-life centers and organizations, chaining themselves to fences around the Supreme Court, throwing red paint in front of the Court and threatening bodily harm to Justices and lawmakers.

The radical group, Jane’s Revenge, has reportedly claimed responsibility for many terroristic attacks, vandalism and firebombings.

New York Attorney General Letitia James encouraged people to join the “revolution.”

Democratic Socialists of America, a communist political organization, called the Supreme Court decision “class warfare” which cannot go “unchallenged” on the streets.

The executive director of MoveOn, a radical left organization supported by George Soros, says her organization is targeting Republicans for taking away their “abortion rights.”

Some woke corporations funded employees who demonstrated. Patagonia, Inc. announced they would pay the bail of any of their employees arrested for protesting. Going further, the company will pay for food, travel, and living expenses for any employees who travel to blue states for abortions.

Although nearly 50 years of unconstitutional law have been aborted, it’s clear the issue of abortion is far from over. Abortion bans or restrictions are expected in at least 25 states – or half of the country.

There are 13 states with trigger laws that automatically ban most or all abortions -- Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and Wyoming.

Five additional states – Alabama, Arizona, Michigan, West Virginia and Wisconsin – still have pre-Roe abortion bans that will go into effect.

Four additional states – Georgia, Iowa, Ohio and South Carolina – all have laws banning abortions after the six-week mark, which were previously ruled unconstitutional but will be revisited now.

Florida, Indiana, Montana and Nebraska likely will move to ban or severely restrict abortions.

Abortion advocates are vicious in their attacks. They will stop at nothing to legalize their “right” to murder. The legislators of these states that ban abortion will be high on their target list. Anyone and any organization that oppose abortion will be targeted. Anything and everything is on the table for this Satanic mob to get their “rights.”
