Though Texas Republicans are crowing about their accomplishment in passing HB 3979 to ban Critical Race Theory, their handiwork is far worse than having no bill at all.

The Republican-controlled legislature failed to pass most of the Republican legislative priorities, yet with the national light shining on them, they passed a bill that will have incredibly devastating effects on the attitudes and beliefs of students. Then they lied to us about its merits.

One year after the death of George Floyd, Biden’s State Department has authorized American embassies to fly the Black Lives Matter flag to promote the Marxist organization. The department’s memo stated that it “supports the use of the term 'Black Lives Matter' in messaging content, speeches, and other diplomatic engagements with foreign audiences to advance racial equity and access to justice on May 25 and beyond.”

Biden, Bi-Partisan Congress Push Critical Race Theory, 1619 Project Into Nation’s Classrooms

On Monday, Biden’s woke Department of Education proposed a new rule to push the most radical elements of the Neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory into American schools. 

This will be accomplished through federal grants for American History and Civics Education programs. The New York Times 1619 Project and Ibram X. Kendi’s “anti-racism” -- massive reverse discrimination toward whites -- will be included in civics education.

The nation is watching as states begin to ban the teaching of critical race theory in schools. The pressure was on Texas lawmakers to join quickly with other red states in passing its own. Though Republicans are crowing about their accomplishment, the bill sent to Governor Greg Abbott for his signature is worse than having none at all. A comparison of the original House Bill 3979 with the final version clearly shows that the 1619 Project, although it is specifically banned, effectively will be implemented and America portrayed as a systemically racist nation.
