Happy New Year to all of you!

Wow! What a difference a year has made! There’s an excitement in America unlike that of any other time I can remember. Thanks to President and Mrs. Trump, the White House was alive with Christmas tradition, from the “Merry Christmas” on the White House card to its official hashtag #WHChristmas. Once again Americans felt free to exercise our First Amendment right to wish others a “Merry Christmas” as we shopped and partied.

As I watch the news about the bizarre behavior of left wing radicals, I’m painfully aware that my generation shares much of the blame for the chaos in America because we did not mind the store. We have assumed – and hoped – that our elected officials would uphold their Constitutional oaths so we could focus on our careers, families, church, hobbies, sports, vacations, and other far more interesting past times than riding herd on elected employees.

We’ve ignored the steady shredding of our Constitution and the attacks on our heritage. We’ve allowed lawmakers at all levels of government to make laws that violate our Constitution and its Bill of Rights without holding them accountable. They routinely vote the way they want instead of how we want. Why should they worry since they knew the American people could be trampled? No more!

If we are going to restore law and order, it will be through education. Not only must we regain control over how and where our children are educated – Common Core is a result but not the root of the problem – but we must educate ourselves about how we got into this mess.

Then we must learn how to recognize the signs of danger from enemies within who are always looking for opportunities to impose their agenda. History is important to know if we’re to understand where we derailed and how to get back on track.

It's up to the people to expose the agenda. Then if lawmakers choose to ignore us, we fire them.  If corporations ignore us, we don't buy their products or services.
