Can a Federal Muslim Judge Uphold the Constitution?

John Guandolo with Understanding the Threat recently reported that Joe Biden had announced the nomination of Zahid Quraishi, a practicing muslim, to be a magistrate judge for the District of New Jersey.
If confirmed, Quraishi will be the first muslim federal judge in American history. This nomination and its significance have gone largely unnoticed.
Background
In January 2019, the first two Muslim women in Congress, Minnesota's Ilhan Omar and Michigan's Rashida Tlaib, were sworn in. Instead of using the Bible, each placed her hand on the Quran, swearing to "support and defend the U.S. Constitution...So help me God."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi placed her hand on the Quran in show of support of the Islamic sacred book for taking an oath to uphold the Constitution.
Christians were quite concerned that the Quran had been used instead of the Bible, believing that the Constitution calls for its use.
Though the Bible is by far the most common object used in swearing-in ceremonies, the Constitution makes no requirement about what text or object should be used. Article VI, Clause 3 of the Constitution requires that senators and representatives "be bound by Oath or Affirmation" to support the Constitution, but that same clause ends with the declaration that "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."
Oath taking with a Bible was used in ninth-century England where church alters – for lack of government centers-- were used as the courtroom for oaths and contracts. The tradition migrated to the American English colonies. Although George Washington did use a Bible for his oath, not every future president did the same.
Why is the Quran a problem?
The Quran symbolizes the vast difference between the legal system of the United States and that of muslims. The question is this. If a muslim swears to uphold the Constitution, is he lying? Can one can be a devout muslim and still uphold the U.S. Constitution?
Muslims believe there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. Muslims are required to live under Sharia, which is deemed divine law and does not permit them to live under any other legal system. Devout muslims believe the U.S. Constitution is just human law and, therefore, is inferior to the divine law of Sharia.
For American citizens the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land and does not permit any other legal system, including Sharia. It guarantees in the Bill of Rights the unalienable rights given us by God.
How then can a devout muslim swear to uphold the Constitution when Islam requires that he live only under Sharia? How can a devout muslim recite the Pledge of Allegiance -- "one nation under God " -- when a muslim is a Ummanhist – a citizen of international Islam required to live under Allah?
How can a devout muslim who swears to uphold the Constitution attend a mosque which has a primary purpose of being the seat of the Islamic government where a Sharia court is operated, Islam/Sharia is taught, social events are held, jihadi are trained, battles planned, weapons stored, and the place from which battles are launched? How can Sharia be followed in a mosque when it is illegal to have another legal system in America?
And yes, muslims do pray there.
Either those muslims who swear to uphold the U.S. Constitution are ignorant of the implication of their pledges or they are purposely lying. However, this action of lying or dissimulation -- taqiyah -- is not only condoned, but recommended to muslims in their scripture, the Quran. Therefore, a muslim can -- and will -- lie without any compunction, if it is necessary to protect or further Islam.
Can a muslim judge uphold federal law?
Do we believe that Zahid Quraishi will be ignorant of the implication of his oath, if confirmed? It's highly unlikely. Then we can likely expect him to undermine Constitutional law. Biden's placing a muslim on a federal bench is yet another of his obvious attempts to overthrow our Western traditions and Christian faith – and our American freedoms.
