Biden, Bi-Partisan Congress Push Critical Race Theory,
1619 Project Into Nation’s Classrooms

On Monday, Biden’s woke Department of Education proposed a new rule to push the most radical elements of the Neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory into American schools.
This will be accomplished through federal grants for American History and Civics Education programs. The New York Times 1619 Project and Ibram X. Kendi’s “anti-racism” -- massive reverse discrimination toward whites -- are referenced as positive examples of civics education.
Top priority will be given by the USDE to federal grants that "incorporate racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse perspectives into teaching and learning," such as 1619 Project.
Biden’s new American history and civics rule also expresses support for “Culturally Responsive Teaching,” the Action Civics pedagogy for Critical Race Theory that was recently imposed on Illinois teachers by the Illinois legislature. To acquire and keep a license, teachers must indoctrinate their students in CRT under the guise of “civics,” including community organizing with student protests.
On a much grander and more dangerous scale is the bipartisan Congressional legislation, the Civics Secures Democracy Act, that will provide federal grants to states. This is a stark reminder of federal regulations and Race to the Top funding which imposed Common Core standards in English and math on the states. Only four states declined to accept the federal funding.
Using idiotic woke buzz words to disguise its true intent, CSDA calls for pumping $1 billion annually for six years into radical left Action Civics and Critical Race programs. Each year colleges of education, which are decidedly far left, will receive $150 million to indoctrinate future teachers in Marxist CRT.
CSDA funds are not to be used to develop a national curriculum in American history or civics education. Yet woke buzz words indicate the bill actually does create a de facto national curriculum in Action Civics and Critical Race Theory – a federal Common Core in history and civics.
The bill calls for significant changes to the Higher Education Act of 1965 (Bill page 24, lines 12-19). “Western civilization” and “traditional history” will be canceled.
(B) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘traditional American history, free institutions, or Western civilization’’ and inserting ‘‘American political thought and history, free institutions, the impact of American representative democracy and constitutional democracies globally, or the means of participation in political and civic life.’
As usual, Republicans, who have sworn to uphold the Constitution, have jumped onto this Neo-Marxist banana boat just as they have with other unconstitutional federal legislation, resulting in stifling government control of education. Senator John Cornyn and Representative Tom Cole joined Democrat Senator Chris Coons and two House Democrats to introduce the CSDA.
For this, they must be exposed and turned out of office.
Critical Race Theory is a dangerous threat to our national security and to the future of a free America. It must be stopped at all costs.
States must refuse the coming avalanche of federal money from the new USDE proposal and the Civics Secures Democracy Act. It’s urgent for states to adopt laws barring both Critical Race Theory and Action Civics from K-12 yet continue to keep curricular decisions at the local level.
Action to Stop Critical Race Theory

Civics Secures Democracy Act -- Contact your U.S. Congressman and Senators and tell them to kill this Critical Race Theory bill
State level -- Let your state lawmakers know you expect them to lead the charge to ban Critical Race Theory 1) by passing laws to prohibit the teaching of it and 2) by declining these federal grants.
