The Education Death Sentence in Trump’s 'Big, Beautiful Bill’

Conservatives must understand that ‘school choice’ has serious problems lying underneath the slogan. 

The GOP-backed “Big, Beautiful Bill” includes an unconstitutional school choice program. A specific provision threatens the independence of private schools and sets a dangerous precedent of forcing them to comply with outrageously expensive federal mandates.

Juneteenth: A scheme to cancel July 4?

Juneteenth is now a federal holiday celebrating the end of slavery. Although Juneteenth has been often celebrated as the end of slavery, the fact is that slavery continued to exist for nearly six months after this date, including in Kentucky and two Northern states, Delaware and New Jersey.

Artificial Intelligence will become our public school teachers in less than 10 years. What else could posssibly go wrong with this rotten-to-the-core government indoctrination institution? 

On April 23, President Trump signed an executive order, Advancing Artificial Intelligence Education for American Youth to promote AI literacy and proficiency among Americans. To ensure global leadership, AI will be integrated into public education to provide training for educators and teach students AI technology as early as possible.

America's New Workforce: ‘Lazy Spoiled Brats’

In a recent interview on Varney & Co., Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy excoriated Gen Z, the generation that was born between 1997 and 2012. 

“It’s hard to manage them. They don't want to work. They're spoiled brats. They've grown up in a world where it's everyone gets a trophy generation, and the idea of showing up and going through traffic and being at the office at 8:45 and working until six, they look at you like you've got 10 heads. They think everthing is on a silver platter. It’s really hard to motivate these people. They’re really lazy, entitled losers."

Texas’s School Choice Bill Isn’t As Good As Claimed

On May 3, Texas Governor Abbott signed the state’s first school choice bill that he has hailed a “historic victory.” With the signing of the bill, half of American students will live in states with school choice. Although Abbott touts the program as the largest in the nation, it has a “long way to go before it can claim to be the biggest in the country by most meaningful metrics.”
