The legendary “freedom fighter,” brilliant economist, and long time columnist, Walter E. Williams died on December 2 at the age of 84. Brilliant, witty, and incisive, he was one of the most influential conservative thinkers of our time.
Professor Williams showed early in life that he would march to his own drumbeat when, after being drafted, he was “kicked out of the U.S. Army — not dishonorably discharged –for being too much of a smartass and independent thinker” about the racial discrimination toward blacks. He refused to be labeled “African American,” saying that he used to be colored, then a negro, then black and he was jumping off the merry go round at that point.

Despite public anger over our history being wiped out, lawmakers from both parties continue to dismantle our nation’s culture to appease the woke crowd. Allowing it to continue unchecked has America teetering on the edge of a cliff overlooking Hell. Changing the culture is a critical step for changing a nation’s government and laws. Jon Francis, Cisco businessman, states it well: “Keep in mind that politics is downstream from culture. If we allow them to change the culture, you must know that politics and law will follow.”

In China, public schools are open for K-12 students who are are learning in-person while many American schools are closed, despite the science that shows students and teachers are not infecting each other. American teacher unions are the most vociferous of voices to continue the shutdown of publicly funded schools.
